Guest guest
Hi Wayne, I think if I were you I'd still check with the center in Lexington myself if this is where you want to go because something is very wrong with what your wife was told. A CI Center would not have that criteria. Here is the critera for adults. Adults: 18 year and over Do you have: · Severe-to-profound sensorineural hearing loss in both ears? · Receive little or no useful benefit from hearing aids? · Score 50 percent or less on sentence recognition tests in the ear to be implanted and 60 percent or less in the non-implanted ear or bilaterally? I sent you the information you were asking for privately. Please let me know if you need any additional information. You and I are alike today. I just deleted all my sent mail this morning. I smiled when I read your e mail tonight. Happy New Year... Alice Alice My wife just talked to a women who has 7% in one ear and 9% in the other ear and the doc in Lexington said there was nothing he could do for her... so with me having 15% looks like I wont have a chance geting a CI. If you could also send us the place on Floyd street in Louisville so we have to start somewhere..... wayne
