A Visit From a BunE Tonight

I just had the most wonderful visit with BunE who is visiting New Mexico. We

went out to dinner at a lovely restaurant and had so much fun chatting away. No

one could have possibly known that both of us are deaf.

BunE was a counselor at the CI camp in Colorado last month and she was telling

me all about it. It sounds like she had a wonderful time and I have asked her

to share her experience there with the group when she gets back home. I hope

she does. She left me a DVD of her hook up which I am going to watch in a few

minutes.

I've often said that if I hadn't lost my hearing, I would not have met some of

the wonderful people I have grown to know because of the deafness. BunE is one

of them. This has definitely made lemonaide out of lemons.
