Sorry Lyn, What I meant was that I was wondering if you were aware of any scientific references that explain how EFT works. I am not really aware of any. You asked... > How much research have you done on this, to come up with the > idea that there is no fully agreeable scientific explanation? My answer is that I have pursued a casual study on it for about 25 years now and have not come across any solid scientific confirmation, except as I already mentioned, the book " Vibrational Medicine " giving the most reasonable explanation I have come across. Scientific studies of the neurological and biological systems in the body do not really provide solid evidence that I have seen. The etheric body energies and meridian interfaces are not directly connected to these other systems even though they are entwined with them. You mention that you can " feel " the energy systems, and I agree wholeheartedly that we all can. However this cannot be scientifically verified to my knowledge. And neither can the use of intuition. I strongly feel that intuition and and intention pay a very large part in subtle energy healing modalities and most scientests and skeptics pay no attention at all to these vital factors. It is also interesting that I have not found people to feel that the 9 gamut exercise is hokus pokus when they are told what it's purpose is. I also believe that establishing rapport and credibility with the person who we are helping to heal is of more importance than trying to rationalize what you are doing to help them. And that is where 's videos and tapes are invaluable. These are only my personal feeling and are not intended to defend any personal philosophy one way or another.
