Guest guest
My sister ... she's so unbelieving of these types of things it makes my heart cry out in pain. But tonight, well, when she was going through a particularly painful episode (she's just recovering from a serious colon cancer op) I encouraged her to go through the tapping - 'let's try it, even if it doesn't work' I said. She was crying while going through it, but when she hit the point under her arm, she experienced a 'letting go' of her anxiety symptoms. I could hear the change in her voice, and she stopped crying, she even acknowledged that she felt better after it too - more to the point, she said she was going to keep it up!!! I also tried it on a woman I hardly know today. She came downstairs from her office holding her headache while aiming for the first aid room and the pills ... I said, 'before you go for that, why don't you try this instead' then briefly explained that it might not work, but let's give it a go anyway ... she was a bit wary - even as we were going through the tapping - I took her through the steps, and at the end she said, 'Hmm. It's moved.' (the chasing the pain type scenario I guessed). So we went through it quickly again, and she said, 'I'll maybe try this again later, I've not got a lot of time right now ... but I'll take a pill anyway ... just in case' Thinking it hadn't worked for her on this occasion, I shrugged and said, okay. C'est la vie. Two minutes hadn't passed before she returned from the first aid room and said she didn't need the pill as her headache had gone! Later on, I learned she was telling everyone about it and how good it felt and how quickly it worked on her! Thanks , for bringing this into our lives.
