Hi Terri, Unfortunately, I have not had to use any as I have 2 cats inside...plus outside... I can take some peppermint and put in the chicken coop and see if that works... my kitties cannot get into the chicken coop... of course the chickens get one once in awhile..TerriLynne <terri_lynne@...> wrote: Hi all,I discovered last night that a mouse has moved into my house. I don'twant to kill it, and so I was looking online for the pest repellentdiscussed a couple of months ago, various combinations of urine. Myconcern is that I'm not sure I want my house smelling like those urines. But while I was looking, I saw quite a few other products usingpeppermint oil or peppermint with spearmint oil. I don't recall ifanyone has tried these as repellents. If so, did they

work? __________________________________________________

Hi Suzi,

I also have a cat, but mice have created (or found) a tunnel into the

house which brings them right into a bathroom cupboard where the cat

can't reach them. Plus, my cat is only a part time hunter. She seems

more interested in birds than in mice. :-)

I remember someone telling me years ago about putting steel wool around the pipes where they come into the house to keep the mice from coming in... however, if it is already in.. well.......... leave the cabinet door open (take out the stuff) and put the cat in there with the bathroom door closed.. Heck put some catnip in the cupboard... the cat will love it and probably get the mouse too. heck try some catnip and peppermint down the tunnel.. what can it hurt?
