I just got caught up on your posts and think I have another

perspective about the cost of WLS. My surgery is scheduled for Feb.

16 and I can't wait. In the past I have done to Craig, Weight

Watchers, Herbal Life and all kinds of other programs. I also have

taken Phen Fin (Which was awesome but not something I could take for

life) and have gained back every pound I ever lost plus more. If I

took all that money that I paid for all of the above I would have

enough to pay for both my surgery and yours and I am only 37! That is

about 17 years of dieting. I have many more years than that before my

life is over. My husband refinanced his precious classic corvette for

the money for my surgery and it is going to be worth every $288.00

payment I make for the next 3 years. After that I am home free other

than occasional adjustments. What is a lifetime of weight control

worth to you? Good luck in your research but also weigh out the costs

of a lifetime of unsuccessful yoyo dieting both to your health and to

your pocketbook.

250lbs now but soon to be 150!
