Guest guest
[Tap 'n B Free] Re: Help with study skills, panic, core issues of not being smart enough You should definitely begin learning Mind mapping. Since you are right mind dominated you will befit extremely by using your creative brain also as you work the material into your left side. This is an extremely good learning method. There is plenty information about Mind mapping on the net or in books you can buy in Amazon. But there isn't much to learn about it If you ask me.. Simply read book and outline few words that get's the whole meaning of a page, which is not many words on a page referring to a normal book. Using an A3 paper ark, draw a picture in the centre which would represent the contents of the book from your viewpoint. Use many colours to stimulate your right brain side, use 2 min on this centre drawing, and then you have activated your right side to participate in your learning process. From the centre start drawing " main " lines which f.exe represent a chapter in the book, NB using the same colour on the whole chapter or subject. Once in a while,- draw a picture which represent a word or a phrase (remember to use a less words possible to describe a meaning). Ex. If you have wrote down the word " IRAQ " , U can draw the Iraq Flag or the face of Saddam spitted on a spear (- : When U later read the Mindmap you will instantly remember the meaning or the contents of what they represent.. To remember phrases or words in a specific order. Study Mmonics techniques - they are incredible. Can bee used together with M-Maps. If you learn these methods properly you cannot forget the material like you cannot forget your name -Referring especially to Mmonics techniques. Check out the site www.learningstrategies.com -they offer many helpful programs for learning effectively and fast and to overcome fears using hypnosis tapes. Fred > I'll try to make this brief. Can bee used together with M-Maps. Thank you for this- but I cannot find anything on the internet (google) for Mmonics. Can you suggest any reading material on this technique? I need to do alot of memorization so I am very interested. Class is going great, by the way. Very difficult but manageable...thanks to some very supportive people and lots EFT. Again, any info on Mmonics would be great. Fiona > >
