Guest guest
Looks like I found the " clear " version of the isopure. It is already pre-bottled in fruit flavors. Hope the powder I saw in fruit flavors is also considered " clear " . I'm right this time, right? Hope so. > In my search for my liquid diet supplements, I am struggling with > this 'Isopure' I keep reading about. Guest guest
Robin, I bought Isopure at High Health, (maybe that is only in AZ) it was cheaper than GNC. I mix mine with juice and it is better. I know that some mix it with Gatorade. Good luck~~ in NM Isopure In my search for my liquid diet supplements, I am struggling with this 'Isopure' I keep reading about. This is what I am suppose to drink on the 'clear liquids' part of my after-care diet. What I do not understand is how this is considered 'clear liquids'? I have looked up Isopure on the net, and from what I am seeing, it is the same thing basically as the EAS AdvantEdge Soy Protein powder mixes I already have at home ( I have vanilla & chocolate). The reason I am assuming they are the same, besides that one is whey & one is soy, is because when I looked up the isopure, it comes in chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. How can this be considered 'clear liquids'? Please correct me if I am wrong, but if this is the right isopure, then I already have a similiar thing already at home, but mine has less cholesterol than the whey type. That is why I bought Soy Protein. If anyone has a clue as to what I am talking about, please post your responses! I need help with the 'clear liquid' proteins! Thanks!! Guest guest
In AZ you can get Isopure cheaper at High Health. You don't have to carry it through the mall! Glass bottles are so heavy! Isopure They have the see through isopure, and the other kind. Yes, each different kind has different amounts of protein. There is one out now that has 50grams. M. Guest guest
Yes I bought a 3lb bottle of the chocolate, it's not the greatest but for the amount of protein, it was drinkable, i tried several other protein drinks that made me gag I couldn't stand them, I use to put a banana and ice cubes, and 1 sweeten low in mine and mix it in a blender with either water or milk and with the banana to me it was delicious. hope this helps Tracie K. Guest guest
New Whey is all ready in liquid form and is only 25 g of protein. I got some of isopure and New Whey so I would have a little variety. I am almost at 2 weeks and still am doing fine as far as the eating is going. I looked on the website and there is tons of flavors. Now can I try any of the flavors or is there a specific one I have to drink after surgery? I also looked up New Whey and that seems a little more expensive is that a better protein drink? Please let me know. I'm counting down my days. I will be heading to Calexico/Mexicali on the 28th with my friend and husband. We are excited and I pray that things go well. Keep me in prayer bandsters. Guest guest
, You can have any flavor of the Isopure. I have heard the grape is the best but I hate every other flavor I have tried. I use the New Whey fruit punch for my supplemental protein. It is so much easier for me to tolerate than nasty Isopure. If you have to order it, I wouldn't order much until you taste it. Try GNC stores, Smoothie King stores, or any other health food stores you may have in your area before you order much of this dreaded stuff!!! Good luck on your upcoming surgery. I was banded February 23 of this year and have lost 48 pounds and 49 inches. It isn't always easy but it is so much easier than dieting! Just do what you need to do to take care of your band and it will work! Have a great time in Mexicalli! You will be in the very best of hands.
