Guest guest
hi all. i have to share with you all, that we did get a very surprising setback. in checking our messages yesterday, i found one from his doctors office. his insurance company is stating that implantation is not a covered benifit. after all this time, and assuring us that everything was fine, just two days before surgery and we are off. just like that, with only one stupid message. but all is not lost, we hope. i have been in touch with his doctor, emailed the implant company to inlist their help, and will call both in the morning to try to get this sorted out. it may have just been a wording issue, or some other simple mistake like ignorance, that can be fixed quickly, or atleast in the very near future. the doctor let us know that this was not based on medical neccesity, but is completely ready and willing to write a letter of appeal if need be. we just have to straighten up the whole thing on the insurance side. if by some nightmare this turns out to be true, i am looking for any and all sugestions on alternatives. cherry has said that he will pay for it if he has to, but i am sure there are other ways to make this happen, including paying for insurance privately. i want you all to know that he is keeping his chin up. we are both trying to not let his setback deter us from obtaining his dream. we are very gratefull to all of you for being here for us, and see how much a part of our lives you have become. i think i would have lost my mind yesterday if not for those of you that were here with me as i found out, and started to show us that there is hope. and i know that you will always be here for us and everyone. well, once again i cant breath! evertime i get into this it just feels so darn overwhelming an unbelievable. God help us get through it and over it. hope you all have a great day, and as always, take care, m
