Guest guest
, with a tight fill, some people cannot eat solids before noon. This can make it very hard to get in the nutrition we need during the rest of the day. Be certain you are not dehydrated - those that take care to get in at least 64-100 oz of fluids a day often see this am tightness resolve. Also, drink 1-2 glasses of fluid one hour before bedtime, as this will help your morning (and overall) hydration and restriction - less variations, it seems. You might try starting the morning with a cup of hot tea to relax and open eht stoma. then many people can eat a bit of cereal or so. don't eat solids after maybe 7 pm either, as one doc's theory is that food sitting in your pouch later in the evening increrases am restriction. That seems to be true for many people, and the tightness resolves when they don't eat after dinner. cold water can also further restict an already-tight stoma, so doesn't work for many people and makes them barf or have pain (sometimes very severe if the esophagus goes into spasms). If you do want to drink very cold stuff, be sure to sip it slowly and let it warm up on the way down. Sounds like a good tight fill to me. Many of us are very tight in morning, looser later in the day. m> does anyone eles have this? m> How is everyone this beautiful morning? Guest guest
I live very far from Mexico as well. I will, however, NEVER go anywhere else but Mexico for my fills. I had a really bad experience in Atlanta. That was 4 months ago and I'm STILL fighting the infection caused by that doctor. In fact, I'm looking at having to have my port removed and later replaced due to the problems I encountered by going to a different doctor. Now, there are plenty of others on this board who haven't had problems with other doctors but just know that there are some of us who have. IF there is no way whatsoever to get back to Dr. Aceves I would just suggest that you become a strong self-advocate for your medical care after your band is placed. Do NOT....let me repeat...DO NOT allow them to use the fill needle more than once to stick you. Insist that they change needles each time if they have to stick you multiple times to access your port. If I had only spoken up.....
