Guest guest
Mark, I watched the last half of the program and was disappointed that Cobourn still takes MSM. I think the dosage he took was 3,000 mg a day. To me that isn't cured although he seems well. They mentioned several others who had arthritis including Debbie Reynolds although she was on the phone to the program I missed whether she had RA or OA. One thing that was stressed over and over was exercise helping. Diet was mentioned too but the exercise was stressed as being significant in keeping active. It was depressing to hear the rheumatologist on the panel say that they don't really know how to cure arthritis and MSM was too alternative for him to accept. The discoverer of MSM was also on the panel. I wished I had seen the first part but I fell asleep and woke up half way through. Guest guest
We saw the show that was repeated later; there was a few phone-ins; no mention of the A.P. The rheumy was strictly allopathic; Allan King the comedian was on, I think his is R.A., he uses magnets and acupuncture. Cyd Charisse the dancer was also on, she has osteo and uses " Arctic Spray " but says she will try MSM. I wanted to email Larry King but couldnt find an addy for him. Tomorrow (Apr. 5) he is having Dr Weil on ( " Eating Well for Optimum Health " ). Carol in B.C. husband on AP jenkins58@...
Guest guest
Anyone happen to tape the November 2 Larry King Live program with the folks from "The Secret"? I was taping it for someone and today I had a brain freeze and taped over the first hour! I'm just sick. I'd really like to get my hands on a copy if anyone taped. Thanks, Shari
Guest guest
Yes I agree... I sent an email to the show too, but just to educate them and ask that they hopefully explore the issue of apraxia on their show, especially since so many health insurance companies deny treatment because they claim they don't know that apraxia is neurological... This would be great exposure for all of you who struggle all the time to get services that your kids deserve. Wouldn't it be easier to make a national statement the insurance companies could not ignore? I cringe every time I see new parents fighting the same old battle after being denied treatment because " apraxia is developmental, not neurological. " Arg!!! If anyone out there has a standard method of getting these services approved, please let me know and I will pass it on to more families I meet!
