Jina, Here is some info - I hope it helps.... Your friend should not expect miracles unless he is changing his eating habits etc... I don't know his food/drink habits... but I do know many who go the "Health Route" to fix a problem and then go right back to their old habits wondering why they still have a problem... DUH? I always tell people.. "You didn't get this way overnite" "Don't expect it to change that quickly either"... (My father is a good one for this) Malic acid that is found in fresh unpasteurized apple juice, and orthophosphoric acid both help to break down stones prior to flushing. Phosphoric acid is found in Classic Coke...hence the Classic Coke flush, although there are better ways of ingesting orthophosphoric acid....or find ortho acid - one is Ortho-Phos and the other is PhosFood by Standard Process.

(don't ask me where to find them - check the web or pharmacy) If you use orthophosphoric acid make sure that you rinse your mouth out well each time after taking it. The acid can etch tooth enamel if any remains in the mouth for an extended period of time. The unpasteurized apple juice way ..... Every day for a week leading up to the flush, juice a litre of organic apples. Add a TBSPN of olive oil. Drink 4 x 250ml during the day. Then on the 7th day, do your grapefruit juice/olive oil (1 cup each) drink just before bed. Buy a juicer for this as it is very hard to find UNpasturized apple juice. There are also some Chinese herbs that help to break down stones There is a chinese medicine called shi lin tong to help with stones. It also helps with kidney stones. I have heard that the chinese herbal doctors also recommend Gold Coin Grass, and chinese bitters, which are not to be taken at the same time.
