I just wanted to welcome you to the group! My son doesn't have Mondini

Dysplasia but he was implanted at 20months of age with the Nucleus 24. He is

doing fantastic, we have been completely amazed at how much his implant has

opened up the world of sound to him. He is a happy, typically developing 5 year

old who loves to talk, listen and sing! I would love to talk with you further

I must have missed the original post but obviously somebody is looking for

parents whose children have a Nucleus device?

Our son was implanted bilaterally with the N24 at the age of 10 months.

Now, at the age of 3;9 he is doing beautifully, growing up with two spoken

languages, completely mainstreamed.

I'd be happy to share our experience.
