Michele Yes of course it is possible to use EFT to improve concentration because one of the biggest problems with concentration is the mind wandering off to other subjects, often those brought up because of emotional attachments to some things and detachments to others. You could start with these, and see what else comes up... " Even though my concentration is terrible, I deeply and completely accept myself " " Even though don't think I can study efficiently for my exam, I choose to be calm and clear thinking while I am studying. " " Even though I have to pass this exam for work, I choose to concentrate and study efficiently " " Even though I am stressed about having to pass this exam for work, I deeply and completely accept myself. " Let us know how you go with your studying ... And ask for more help as you need it! Best wishes Vivienne
Guest guest
Hi Vivienne............you are a font of knowledge......... can you assist here please........ Have had an intermittent cough for months now, started a few days after the Bali bombing in October which really affected me. I wept so much to see what had happened. Coincidence ? Due to sinus and post nasal drip so I am told. Have not felt ill at all, full of energy etc. BUT in the last 24 hours the throat is raspy and painful causing me to cough often. Itchy eyes and the occasional sneeze. I have not had anything like this since 1981 believe it or not.. I am not chesty, from the throat up is the problem. A sharp knife would help I guess LOL. Of course in my usual health anxiety way I think I have some horrendous disease which does not help. Can I tap on such physical problems and what would the set up statement be. Interestingly, this has really flared up in the past24 hours and be it coincidence or not, I found out yesterday that one of my former clients was bad mouthing me and my professional ability. She has not got the guts to call me so I am feeling angry. I have re-checked my work as did another practitioner and we both cannot find the problem. Any connection you reckon ? I cannot confront her because the ramifications on the person who informed me would not be good. Thanks for any input Vivienne, trust you have settled in your new abode. Guest guest
Hi Vivienne, thank you very much for your answer! I'm starting to use your sentences immediately. I'm not very expert in EFT because I've just begun to use it. If you have any other advice let me know, please. Best wishes Michele > > > I'd like to have some advices about the use of EFT in improving my > > power of concentration when I'm studying, because I will have a > > fondamental exam for my job in 45 days and my ability to concentrate > > is terrible. Guest guest
Hi Michele, Have a look at Silvia Hartmann's thought flow technique too, when I have to sit and concentrate and write, I do this and it seems to clear my head and keep me focused. http://emotrance.com/modules.php?name=News & file=article & sid=31 Kate
Guest guest
Hi Glyn, Apart from tapping you could take colloidial silver as well, Ive had a tear filled week and noticed I have sinus and post nasal drip, which is an old pattern of mine from years ago too. Guest guest
Glyn Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I had to take my partner into hospital last night because his Atrial Fibrillation, which he's had on and off for several years and more on than off since we moved last month, got a little worse last night. Now they're saying its not Fibrillation, but Atrial Flutter, same risk factors, but different treatment (or lack of, apart from reducing risks). Anyway, I have to go collect him in half an hour, so I have a few minutes to spare. Sounds like you are choked up about something. Or feeling gagged, or both! You could if there is anything around that you might be allergic to (apart from your former client?), or if you are getting a cold (gargling warm salty water is soothing if it gets too sore and if you can cope with it, also increase Vitamin C). But stop worrying - you most probably don't have SARS (you didn't go overseas, remember?)!!! You can tap on this type of stuff - remember Craig tells us to tap on 'everything'. Start with tapping on the crying for the Bali victims since that's when the symptoms started. (is there a connection to choking????) Then move on to the chronic post nasal drip. By then you should be on a roll, so then tap on how this former client makes you feel (voiceless?), and what's the connection with the sharp knife? Follow that one through, both with your initial problems, and your reactions to this new client who has stabbed you in the back. But hey, don't stop there, move on to the connection between the sharp knife and your health phobia, because there is a connection, isn't there???? " Even though I cried and cried for the Bali victims and what happened in Bali, I deeply and completely love and accept myself " " Even though I was all choked up about Bali, I deeply and completely accept myself " " Even though I've had a post nasal drip for the past 6 months which has made me cough and made it hard to talk some times, I deeply and completely accept myself as I am now, with all my health problems. " " Even though I'm frightened of getting SARS, I deeply and completely accept myself " " Even though I have suddenly got lots worse and I'm terrified of getting really sick, I know it's probably just a simple cold that I've got at the moment, and I'm going to be OK " " Even though my former client has knifed me in the back, and left me powerless to say anything, I deeply and completely accept myself and know that I did the best I could for her " " Even though I have lots of other unsolved and unresolved issues and aspects here, I choose to love myself fully and to know that I'm OK as I am, without any changes " . " Even though I feel ..... Then just follow what comes up. Any connection to the past? To when you were a child? Doctor's visits? Your grandmother, your grandfather? A knife? Tap for them even if you can't remember the details but just get a feeling about any of them. " Even though I can't remember the details, I know there's a connection between all this and ...., I deeply and completely accept myself " You never know, you might just chop down the last remaining tree that's blocking your view out of your forest! Best wishes for a speedy recovery! Vivienne
Guest guest
Hi Vivienne Thanks for your input. It is muchly appreciated. No I aint worried about SARS, it was lung cancer !!!! The knife, I used that as a figure of speech to cut off my head where it is so full of dampness. one hour ago commenced a course of homeopathics for the PND and sinus and cough. We'll see what happens there.Interestingly I have not coughed since I took the first dose........bizarre. I certainly hope all goes well with your partner and he is on the road to recovery quickly. Go to the TFT website www.tftrx.com and read up on heart rate variability. It is very interesting . Thanks again Glyn
