Guest guest
Hi guys, I wanted to let you know that I will be offline for a little while. I just found out that my father in law is in the hospital and has a tumor on one of his lungs. He will be having the lung removed and we are uncertain as to how long he will be in the hospital. Actually, that is the part I CAN handle. LOL My mother in law, on the other hand, has been home by herself for a week and I just found out about it yesterday. She has had two severe strokes in the last few months and should not be by herself. This is why I will be offline. My son and I will be going to stay with her for a little while. We are dragging the dogs and cats along with us so we don't have to worry about them. At this point I am uncertain as to how long we will be staying. I will be driving back and forth from their house to school each day, which is about an hour and a half commute each way, but I would rather do that than go and find her dead (sorry to be so blunt...but this is just the reality of the situation). She is unable to do anything for herself at this point as she can't drive and hardly can speak. Sad to say that I am the only person she has that is willing to help take care of her...and I'm the EX daughter in law. I do, however, feel it is my obligation to help take care of her. I know it is the right thing to do. At this point we don't know what is going to happen with my father in law, but have to make sure that they are both taken care of. If it ends up that we have to move in with them, then so be it...that is what we will do. They live in a nice area...actually closer to my family than I live now, so it will be alright if that happens. But for now, I don't feel that I can drag my computer with me, so I will be offline for a bit. Please, everyone, say a prayer for these people as they do truly need the prayers. They have not always been nice to me as many of you know...but they don't deserve to not have any of their kids around to help take care of them. Being that they lost the last of their 4 boys just recently...having to bury all 4 of your children is not even something any parent should have to do..but they have done that and now all they have is me and my son to take care of them. Now with both of them being so sick...they need some serious prayers. Thanks for listening and I'll keep you all posted as I am able. Take care, Caroline -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
