Guest guest
Hi Lori. I had my first fill with Dr. A. He put in 1.2 cc’s. I could still eat a pretty healthy amount of food and wasn’t loosing any weight. So I went for another fill and now I am at 2.2 cc’s. I’m really tight and was on liquids for a week because I couldn’t eat any solids. Now I can handle a small amount of solid if I’m careful. I’m tight but happy about it. I’ve since lost 8 lbs. So try it out for a while and see what you think. You may need to go back for some more juice. DOB 9/25/06 241/215/160 Thank you, M. Guest guest
Hey Lori The band is a tool. You can eat around your band. I think your per-measuring and etc of what you said below is a good thing. Sometimes a fill will kick in a couple of days. Sometimes you need more of your fill. How many cc's was your fill? They usually give you 7 day grace period to see if you need more or an unfill. At no extra charge. Just pay attention to your band and call your Dr or center for more fill if needed. Hope this helps.. Guest guest
Hi Ally. That’s different for every person. I waited a little over a month, but I knew right away that I was gonna need another fill. I was anxious to go get another fill right away but everybody kept telling me to wait. They were right. You need to move in steps, not giant leaps. We are all excited to get filled and get going. I took that month to get familiar with how the band worked once it has some fill in it. I recommend that you wait between fills for at least 2 weeks, at least. Just remember, we’re just getting started on the journey. We have plenty of time. This fill is tight and it will probably be some time before I need another, if ever. Don’t sweat trying to figure it out. You will just know when you need another one. . Thank you, M.
