Guest guest
I'd like to pose these questions to those of you who, like me, may have had a shortened bypass due to " Fatty Liver Disease " . 1. Have you had a hard time losing with the MGB? 2. Have you heard anything about the liver's inability to process the fat from our bodies as possibly being why we are losing at such a slow pace? 3. Were you caught unaware of a problem with your liver prior to your MGB as your pre-surgery blood tests (and or physical examination) did not indicate you had a fatty liver or a liver problem? 4. Have any of you sought medical advice from a liver specialist or further testing on your liver due to the Fatty Liver Disease? If so, what tests were performed? 5. About how long did it take for you to recover from Fatty Liver Disease post MGB? 6. How many of you have had revisions due to this problem and how did you know prior to your revision that your Fatty Liver Disease had cleared up? Thank you to those of you who may respond. I am looking for more information and sometimes collaborative efforts can be extremely helpful Ray Ann Alt __________________________________________________
