J Yes, the lightheaded feeling is probably your body adjusting to not so much food intake but you also have to be sure you are getting in that clear liquid protein. As much as you can right now until you can drink the milk based drinks. Broth doesn’t have much protein in it unless it is home made. Welcome to the banded side! We took the city tour (it's a trolley that goes all around the city and you can get on and off wherever and take it back to the place you started.) We got to meet some wonderful people and EVERYTHING you hear about Dr.A and the staff is 100% true. I was pleasantly surprised at how everyone treats you and how comfortable you are made to feel as soon as you get to the hospital. I'm not sure how off my scale is compared to the Dr's but when I got to the hospital I weighed 248 and this morning I was 239..... WOW WOW WOW!! My younger sister and roommate met me at the airport and they both told me I looked thinner (talk about a smile!!) I'm planning on going back to Mexicali for fills as long as possible because there's only a couple of bariatric surgeons in Hawaii and the one that I called prior to surgery was extremely unhelpful and rude!! SOOO hopefully with a little planning and saving I'll be able to swing going back to Mexicali... I'm wondering if anyone else woke up a little light headed the day after being home... I am not sure if it's that I didn't get much sleep (a lil uncomfortable to first night back) or if maybe I need to eat something more. For the most part I'm not in any pain and I can already feel a surge in my energy. Well I gotta go make calls and find out where I'm working Monday.... That and a headache. I'm always hungry so I guess that's my bodies way of telling me it needs food. The broth and jello is just not cutting it. How are you feeling?
