What does the Sighing/Yawning whilst doing EFT actually mean

Hi again group.

After doing EFT on myself for about a year and a half now, i no

longer need to physically tap to get those sighs or gasps of air that

i got whilst tapping, you know the ones i mean? But that was what i

wanted to discuss.

It has been said a reaction to tapping, either yawning, sighing, deep

breathing shows the energy is being moved and EFT is working.

I can simply be reading this message board and someone will write a

set up phrase and i will sigh/take a deep breath when i read it.

I can think back to an issue i was tapping on earlier on in the day,

or a few days ago, and just by thinking of it, it will cause me to

sigh.

I sometimes get fed up of tapping, and so i imagine tapping on myself

and also get those sighs and deep breaths.

At first glance i thought great. I dont even need to tap all the

time, i am getting a results after i have stopped tapping, or just by

reading a set up phrase written down, but now im not too sure.

As an experiment, i 'rode' on this, and hardly did any tapping or

imagining i was tapping, but a phrase that casued me to take a deep

breath, i simply kept thinking of that frequently and allowing the

sigh i got to take place. But after a while of this, i would have

thought the SUDs was going down, but it wasnt.

Also as mentioned in a previous post, working with computers for a

long time seems to mean EFT stops working for me. After spending a

long time with a computer (usually many hours over 2 or 3 days) I

will be doing EFT and I will still get those sighs and deep breaths,

BUT the SUDS will stay the same.

So if an issue is a 7, even though i am doing EFT and sighing, takes

gasps of air, that might make it seem to an outsider EFT was working,

the issue will stay a 7.

So i guess the purpose of this post is to challenge the assumption

that just becasue someone is sighing, yawning, taking deep breaths,

(whilst doing EFT, or thinking about doing EFT) does that ALWAYS mean

healing is taking place?

Has anyone else given any thought to this? Or does anyone know any

more about this please?

Thanks as ever, ever helpful group!
