The next day, the pinprick had turned into a sore, almost as if someone had burned my skin with a cigarette. They still burn badly, although the welts have diminished in size around the sores... Hello Cheryl, While I am new here and I am not medical expert on anything, but I have had shingles before and this does sound a bit like shingles. Have you ever had shingles before? It is important to get a topical cream on them as soon as possible to help prevent scaring and reduce the pain. This is info is from my medical doctor, maybe some one knows a herbal treatment for them though..... Good luck and take care....
