Experience with Speech-Language Pathologists?

Hi Everyone,

I am writing to you to ask if any of you or your children have had any

experiences with a Speech Language Pathologist? I am a Diastrophic Dwarf myself

and am pursuing my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology. I am trying to identify

the need in the community. If you or your child has visited or regularly attends

therapy what is the hurdle being over come? Has the need arisen from a palate

issue, muscle control issue, or due to a lack of hearing due to ear issues?

Perhaps there is another reason? I'm currently writing a paper to include in my

Grad school application packet. Any insight you could provide would be very

helpful. My goal is to assist dwarf children and their parents once I have

completed my schooling. I am interested in hearing from all of you on this.
