Guest guest Posted November 16, 2005 Report Share Posted November 16, 2005 Channel surfing tonight, I came across the TV guide channel where Joan Rivers, her daughter and 2 other folks I don't know were critiquing the style and clothing of the Country Music Award attendees as they showed up on the red carpet. Joan just shook her head when Winona appeared, just disgusted with how Winona looked. She made a comment that she shoud have been nominated for best C/W GROUP!! This morning, 2 DJs on a local radio station were talking about her, too, saying how they'd be scared to meet up with her in a dark alley. How cruel! It isn't like she hasn't publicly talked about her weight struggles on Oprah and I'm sure other places. I am so angry for her! I am even more sensitive to weight comments these days than I ever was. Even though those comments are no longer directed at me. Not sure why. I'm just venting here, but I wish there was something I could do besides complain to the local DJs about their comments.
