Guest guest
I buy my coffee tamer through www.heartburn-help.com. It only takes a few days to get here after my check arrives at their office. I place my order, they e- mail me with my order, I print it off, send a check with that and my order takes no time at all. I can enjoy my coffee! Cheryl 9/20/02 225/147/
Guest guest
to Debbie in the Midwest, you might try hot water with a wedge of lemon in it. you can get it in restaurants and it gives the soothing warmth of coffee without the acid that will harm your baby tummy. Guest guest
Hi Debbie, I have been reading e-mails from other MGB's and many are using coffee tamer. I ordered the product and it came yesterday. You get 50 packets for less than $4.00. It costs more to ship it, than to buy it. There number is 800-363-2243. Tell them that you were referred so you can get 10% off. It helps as an antacid. Good Luck, Lyn in ton, S.C. 10/30/03 305/255 Re: Coffee Tamer I was wondering what coffee tamer is for? What is its purpose? I love coffee and it is so cold in Michigan that I find myself missing it. I have (I know I am bad) had a few cups lately. I get the heartburn/reflux type action afterwards. Is this safe for us to use and enjoy a LITTLE coffee here and there? Debbie in the Midwest!! Statesville/Dr. R 7/21/03 240/
Guest guest
Hi Diane, Got to www.heartburn-help.com and click on store. Coffee tamer comes in individual packets or a shaker powder. And the great thing there is NO expiration date on them so I bought the 150 packets for $8.99 plus shipping. You can also get the 50 packets for $3.99 plus shipping. I carry the packets with me just in case I feel for a cup of coffee when I am out. They take care of 90 percent of the acid and you cannot taste them! ne In a message dated 2/18/2004 2:10:36 AM Eastern Standard Time, diabaz@... writes: > Who is the person that had information on how and where to get Coffee > Tamer? > > Thanks > Diane

Guest guest
HI Kay, I've been using it about a year. I do know that one of Dr. R's nurses says he has not approved Coffee Tamer. I don't know it's effectiveness or why he's not approved it. Would Dr. R or someone at Clos. comment on that please? Thanks Suzanne

Guest guest
<< Is anyone using Coffee Tamer and what do they think of it ??>> Hi Kay, I never leave home without it. Actually, I ran out of it on Saturday and am waiting for my new shipment to arrive. It's been a rough go and makes me appreciate the stuff that much more. from VA is a dedicated user too, I believe. I work with a gal who has not had an MGB but has a VERY sensitive tummy. I turned her on to Coffee Tamer and now she's a devoted client as well! Best wishes, Patty H. Guest guest
I've found postum to be a good substitute. I use equal and the flavored fat free creamer in it like I used with coffee. Now I look forward to it like I did coffee as a hot drink in the morning to get my day started. You may like to try it. We have had patients that ended up having problems after using Coffee Tamer. Please take our advice. I work for a chemical company and today (after reading that CT is a no no!), I just had to check with some of the R & D Chemists in the lab. I tossed them a packet and asked what they thought the active ingredients in CT would do for food acids. They chuckled and said, " Not much " , although they were impressed about it having nutritious stuff for our bones like Calcium and Vitamin D. ....and my BRAND NEW CASE just arrived yesterday evening *UGH*!!!
