Guest guest
I've been taking the pill for about 5 years before I had kids, and I've developed multiple cysts on my ovaries. I was told that this was not caused by the pill. Also, I've been told I won't be able to have kids unless I try for a surgery. I was still suspicious about the pill, and stopped taking them (there was no point anyways). Amazingly, there were no tace of any cysts left after about a year after that. I didn't address the problem in any way other than dropping the pill. I will never take any birth controll pills again, but gosh, that was so easy!!! To be frank, our birth control sucks, and since we already have our hands full with 2 kids (both planned, to our luck), it better stop sucking now, lol! Can you please share some good links on natural family planning? Also, I know there are some IUDs that have NO hormones in them. What do you think of that option? Thanks! Olga Re: Pots & Pans and Birth Control??? I also do natural family planning. I don't know about cancer, but I do know that you have to watch out for blood clots. I took the pill for several years without any problems. But around year five, I started getting spotting and I also became depressed (this went away when I stopped). So these are things you have to watch out for when taking the pill or depa provera. I have decided not to take anything anymore that contains any kind of hormone. Tara > > As far as birth control goes, I do Natural Family Planning. I learned that the birth control pill as well as patch, Depa Provera (the vaccine), etc. causes early abortions. I don't know chemically or metal wise what is in them though. > > For pans I use only cast iron, stainless steel, and glass cookware so I don't get aluminum and teflon, etc. in our bodies. We also use stainless steel cooking spoons, spatulas, etc. However, as far as brands go, I don't really have a recommendation. I have slowly collected over the years, and don't even know which pot/pan is what brand. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on this will post. > > > ~Misty WAHM to - 11 months old > http://www.juiceplus.com/+mk43989 > > > --------------------------------- > Stay in the know.
