Guest guest
mmmm that sounds good. Here's something similar. I almost always grill my salmon. I like to buy a whole (small) salmon or a section of a large one. I rub the outside with garlic, then along the inside I place several cloves of garlic. I also add fresh dill, slices or wedges of lemon and salt and pepper and chunks of onion. I wrap in foil and grill on the "barbie" but it takes longer - more like 20 minutes per side and I pull the cover down on the BBQ. I serve with fresh lemon wedges and fresh dill on top. It's one of the easiest things I make, other than reservations, when my family or friends visit. Phyllis Salmon recipe Hi all, Here's a quick salmon recipe for the grill or oven.Place a piece of salmon on heavy-duty foil, spread mayonaise over the top then sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning (or spice for shrimp/seafood).Fold the foil up and then down sealing in the salmon. Fold the sides tight. Throw in the oven @350 or on the grill for 10-15 min per side. It taste like Crab Imperial!!Enjoy!DanaOld Bay is a land (East Coast) spice used on local seafood caught from the "Chesapeake Bay". I believe it can be purchased on-line. Guest guest
WOW that sounds really good! I think I'll give it a try this weekend. Now, do you just cook that on the top of the stove or do you place it in tin foil and set for at 350 for 20mins? I am new to cooking fish, so I want to make sure I don't do this wrong. Thanks!! They have a salmon fillet that comes in a plastic bag. All you have to do is throw it in the oven for 11 minutes and they claim it comes out perfect every time. Haven't tried it yet. I usually prefer raw salmon sashimi sushi. That sake ginger marinade sounds good Eileen. I already have most of those ingredients and will check it out. I get frozen cod fillets from Costco..very good , only 100 calories per fillet. I'll use it on those.
