There once was a woman who yearned for her heritage,

as if she missed Home. One day she discovered that she

was Home, that the very fabric of her being comprised

Home. And that day was called the first breath.

There once was a man who journeyed across the seas

and upon the sands, searching for fulfillment. In many ways

he did experience being fulfilled; yet he continued his

search. One day he sat under a tree and asked, “What must I

do to be truly fulfilled?” He wasn’t asking with exasperation;

more so, he finally realized that he did not have the answer

to his own question. The tree did then respond, “Give up

your search. Your need is not for what you call fulfillment.

You have been trying to reach into the past and carry the joy

from one experience into your present, believing that you

can do something to make that happen. Your answer is

neither in the past nor the future. Be as I am. I simply am.”

The man sat beneath the tree for a very long time, and when

he fell asleep, he dreamed that he was a child who played

and laughed. Perhaps he is still there… in the dream.

Within this one moment, there resides what is called

“infinite possibilities”. Yet it is not your mind that can

discern which choice will give to you the journey that you so

desire. And it is not your heart which can discern which

choice. More so and in truth, it is your spirit; for within the

fabric of your being resides all-knowing; and within the all-

knowing resides the truth that all choices are one choice.

You are the One.
