Guest guest
Hi Wade, What you might try doing next time (or if you are still having the loss of energy now) is being sure that you are also focusing on tapping in positives. I find that sometimes when people do a huge clearing session getting rid of the unwanted stuff they sometimes feel discombobulated afterwards in one form or another, so I'm wondering if the loss of energy might be related to that - part of you not being sure who you are now/will be once all of that stuff is cleared. It also can just be tired sometimes to move a lot though in my work I tend to find that people feel deeply relaxed rather than exhausted. Take care, Carol Ann [Promotion and website links for this member: Cre8ive expressions message 63] Earlier today I was doing what I think of as uncontrolled tapping - where I just keep taping and tapping in rounds on everything that I am thinking. After I was done I felt pretty good - getting out all that pent up energy. Well within what felt like moments, I felt so weak, I couldnt focus. And now, several hours later I woke up feeling not completely refreshed or energized, but feeling - what I think Ill call normal. Just strange for me. Guest guest
Wade, I've had similar experiences to what you mention, about being suddenly exhausted after tapping on stuff. It's only happened to me a couple of times, but I've attributed it to having hit upon and shifted important issues and needing some time to let things reorganize a little. I'd interpret your experience as a sign of success. Marcia

That'll explain the mechanics of EFT and give you enough information to start applying it successfully to yourself and perhaps others. As you progress in it, you'll want to purchase his collection of DVD sets. When you see EFT in action, it really drives home just how effective the technique is. It also shows you some tricks and tips that the manual doesn't cover. If you have other questions about it, you've found a great place here as the folks are friendly and experienced. Stick around and you'll never know what you'll discover ) -Jef

Guest guest
it is very common to feel tired after tapping on a major issue, as you have just let go of so much energy that was trapped in the body, as muscle tension and in other ways. it's a sign that the parasympathetic nervous system has kicked in and you've begun to relax. we see it in clients all the time, and it's something we look for as one indication that we've hit paydirt and gotten the shift we were tlooking for. after tapping, I ask the client " How do you feel " and if the client say " Tired " as many do, I say " That's a good thing. " when that happens, the client goes home, has a good long nap, sleeps deeper than in a long time, and awakes feeling much more refreshed and relaxed, and then realizes how much tension has been held in their body for so long, creating their chronic negative emotions and accompanying chronic health conditions. charlie --- " mhauffj@... Guest guest
Hi Wade, have you ever walked several miles with a sack of coal on yer back? When you drop the sack (no pun intended) and you can relax and let go you are often left with a great desire just to relax and let your body flop about for a bit. I imagine its the same thing that happens to peeps at the beginning of our holidays. We are rushing around for long periods of time, worrying and getting our adrenaline pumping. When we stop Bham! our bodies just want to be exhausted for a time to recuperate. Carol,i love that word: 'discombobulated'. Had to look it up! Guest guest
03272006 1755 GMT-6 Well, I do carry a back-pack with sand in it for a good workout. (ha) I get what you are saying though. During todays workout, we did about six miles, the dogs and I. I was tapping again and again and half way though the walk I had to start tapping on, 'Even though I have NO energy to walk and get home.... " because I was so drained. I think this is good. I want to get these blocks out. Wade Duncan Macpherson wrote: >Hi Wade, > > have you ever walked several miles with a sack of >coal on yer back?
