Yesterday's casting call for dog adopters

Did yesterday's appeal for little people to adopt dogs bother anybody?

I've watched the show they were referring to (Underdog to Wonderdog on Animal

Planet) and it's a very nice show with admirable aims. The show's " team " takes

a dog, which at first glance would be considered hard to adopt, and they do

extensive grooming and behavioral and health rehab on them and find them a nice

family. They do a really good job with the dogs and do nice things for the

adopting families as well.

My immediate reaction was " what the hell do little people have to do with the

meaning of this show? " The answer came quickly - we're the fad flavor of the

day, I feel like the idea has hit the media that " if you want ratings, round up

some little people. " Argh!

I was offended.
