Can anyone > understand my position? > thankyou Hi Alice, I'm sorry to hear about your dilema. Lemme ask, are you familiar with EFT, have you been using it? If not, we can certainly help you learn to use it and gain some relief from your suffering. If you are using it, here's some suggestions to get you started: ---------- " Even though I feel lonely and isolated from the rest of the world, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. " " This lonely and isolated feeling. " ---------- " Even though I feel overwhelmed with the responsibility of caring for [insert spouse's name here], I deeply and completely love and accept myself. " " This overwhelming responsibility. " ---------- " Even though I have this fear of what will become of me when [insert spouse's name here] passes on, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. " " This fear of what will become of me. " ---------- " Even though I see no end in sight, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. " " No end in sight. " ---------- These are just a few things that popped into my head when I read your post and feel free to change them up to better suit your situation. I don't know exactly what it's like to go through what it is that you're going through, but I can imagine quite a lot when I think of my wife being in the same situation as your husband. My heart goes out to you. Anyway, hope that helps... -Jef

Guest guest
I had/have a couple of challenging situations going on, and I was feeling overwhelmed. At about this time i came across EFT for a 3rd time, and when something keeps comming up, I have to wonder if that's a sign. <G> I checked it out. What really impressed me was the free download. It's one thing to say " try my product but pay $$$ first " It's another to say, " here's a freebie, buy the product if you like it. " So I tried it on myself, and I think it helped squelch some anxiety. Then I went to a counselor, and did EFT with her. One of the issues has me feeling emotionless, which is what I wanted. The other issue remains to be seen, but I should tap on it in the meantime. I just really don't know what to say when I'm doing it. Anyways, I'm impressed with it so far, and I'll keep working with it. Drea _____
Guest guest
Hi Drea- Yes, I like Craig's approach, he's very generous. If you order the DVD's from emofree.com, they have a wealth of demonstrations. If you read some of the site's newsletters in the archives, they also give examples of what phrases work and don't work for people. Mainly, try to be as specific as possible, while tuning into the problem as fully as possible. If you read stories by some of the EFT therapists on the emofree site and you like the way one of them works, call that one up and do a session over the phone. They might give you more specifics on how to help yourself with EFT. -Beck (DVD's have, I think, a 60 day money back return). Guest guest
I think I'm lucky I can delay it. I'd like to buy it now, it looks like it'll be a couple of weeks before I can. At least I can work with it a little bit now. I'll check out the therepy session. I have before without great detail. I was just trying to find someone local. I also signed up for the newsletters.
