Guest guest
You can add some water to it and let it sorta rehydrate, then put it in salads, add it to soups (miso is the best!) and hmm, I'm not sure what else. That's about all I do with it. I don't think you can hurt the nutrients too bad, since they're mostly minerals (same as in sea salt, which you can cook without hurting) and not vitamins. But I could be wrong about that one. Dulse Hi I've just bought some Dulse - has anyone got any recommendations how I should prepare it? I want to preserve the nutrients and make the most of the flavour Thanks Jo ________________________________________________________________________ Messenger - Communicate instantly... But I've also read that some sea greens don't require cooking... I used to eat a fair bit of hijiki and that has a wonderful raw... In any case, as far as I'm aware you're right that cooking doesn't have a negative effect with minerals, and probably a positive effect for fibrous foods... If anyone has any information to the contrary, please share! Mike SE Pennsylvania
