I've raised three sets of children, two each generation beginning

with being the surrogate for my working mother from age 11. I walked

my sisters everywhere they had to go until I became a chauffer at 16.

While raising the grands, I was grousing to my mother about how sick

I was of hauling kids around. One of them needed to be at a school

for kindergarten open house.

I told my mom " I've been doing this since I was eleven! " And she said

to me " She is five years old and she's been doing it since

September. " She was kid #6 for me, but she wasn't part of the process

with the first five like I'd been.

It's all in our perspective, kindergarten or MGB. What is new and

Sometimes I just pass to other post-ops when I feel overwhelmed by

the sameness of a question, or think I might not respond with proper

perspective. I type a lot of responses I never post. That's why we

need all the post-ops we can get here, to share the load and be sure

every newbie gets the fair attention the " baby of the family "

deserves.

MHO as always! Tj
