My friend and I both tiped the driver. He is so helpful and deserving. We tipped the bell boy at the hotel too. I think that was it, oh and the wonderful woman who pushed me around in a wheel chair in the Denver Airport after we ran to catch a plan and missed it and I was totally done in :) Cyrena www.mylapbandjourney.com(240) 230/192/150DOB: 1/19/07 Re: post surgery questions

Thanks to those of you that answered my questions. I have thought of

a few more! :) Is it customary to tip the driver? What about anyone

else? (other than food servers) Thanks again, you all are great!

Hey girl! I know you!! ;o)))))))

I want everyone to know what a fantastic job did. All the ladies did that day. They were great! was up the day after her own surgery and helping the newbies that were there for their pre-ops.

Most of all it was GREAT meeting in real time! I've talked to her on the phone and via email but we didn't have the opportunity to meet until her surgery.

Yep, ... now you can start helping the newer folks with their own questions on what it is like being at Almater and being banded. It's an amazingly easy experience in comparison to what most believe it will be like.

Hello, well a good friend told me that i will be able to help after being banded and here i go..

I was banded on 24th, and i felt great!!!! ont the 25th, i was bored i could of done sight seeing or something. i do tire out after walking but as long as there is places to rest along the way not an issue. But each person is different, there were two others that were banded with me, on had a hernia fixed so she was in more discomfort. But as for me It has been not an issue, we (DH and I) walked the hospital, met with the next group that was going to have surgery. I got to meet another person from this site. Go in with Positive attitude, and all will be well! luv_a_wallflower1 <tjuel@...> wrote:

Hi everyone! I will be banded on June 7 and I was hoping I will feel well enough the next day to go to a museum or a park or shopping. What has been some of your experiences regarding this and does anyone have any suggestions what to go see? Thanks so much!TheresaDOB 6/7/07
