Goldenseal is somewhat rare to find... It takes moist "forrest-like conditions"... You might try Richters.. I have one that someone brought me (he knows plants and woods)... I have manage to keep it for 2 yrs now.. (3 before I can harvest any root).. this year was tough on it... I'm hoping it comes back next year... I have it where it does not get much sunlight at all but not the best for mist forest like conditions.
