Guest guest
Dana, Thats great news! Does that mean we can have sparking water and club soda since they have no acid and will not streach our pouch? I really miss carbonation...... I dont 'think' it would hurt when I swallow.. but I will wait to try it until we get your reply G Dana wrote: >I hope you are not referring to me! Guest guest
I don't think there is anything in club soda that can hurt you. Some can tolerate the bubbles and some can't. Guest guest
I distinctly remember being told by those in " authority " during the group session the day before my surgery that carbonation would stretch the pouch! Guest guest
Dana, Did I miss something? I remember a post not long ago in which you said that you had been drinking Diet Pepsi (I think it was) and had h pylori. Also Dr R told us several times in Clinic that we should never, never drink anything carbonated as it was too harsh on our pouches and could stretch them. Would you please check with him and see if he has changed the policy? Thanks, Sandy
