Guest guest
Like many, I have been caught up in the Olympics, especially gymnastics and swimming. Prior to the Olympics, I read a great article about the amazing U.S. female gymnast, . Ms. is sixteen, and is only 4' 8 " tall. What struck me, and this is no reflection on Ms. , is in one sense, she is no taller than many of us. It is highly unlikely she will grow much taller than she is now. And yet, " society " views her with pride as a world champion athlete...as opposed to how we tend to be viewed. I was just curious if anyone else happened to notice this, and what your thoughts were. Hopefully the day will come when WE too, are viewed no differently than anyone else...champion athlete or not. Adelaide **************It's only a deal if it's where you want to go.
