I might as well throw in that when I went to observe the fusion porcedure, I

asked Dr. s about this and that on the MRI and x-ray. He clearly

suggested that radiologists and cutters disagree frequently. He felt they

underdiagnose (don't you just love it when they say in their report that the

disc is bulging but NOT impinging on the nerve root!?...like you have to see

the foot on the garden hose for the nerve to be irritated. SHEESH!)

Anyway we need to take all data into account with the radiologist report.

Wow, the list sure is getting long! But it is a honor to be able to

intercede on others' behalfs. I'll add yours to the list, Gloria.

I have a friend at work whos much loved dog passed recently. He was

very broken up about it, as we can compassionately understand. I told

him the story of the Rainbow Bridge. It didn't take the hurt away, but

gave him some comfort.

I have another friend whose fur friend, a corgie, is failing, and I

make it a point to talk with him every day about Skywalker, how he is

doing and such. He is maintaining, but not improving. My friend is

trying his best to prepare himself for the worst. It just breaks my

heart.

Getting too misty eyed here

I am sure they will survive just fine. Thanks. We had a freeze last night and I have not checked the peppers. Will do so tomorrow between meetings.

I've suggested it, gave my friend the info on it so he could make an

informed decision. We are now looking into places to get the

ingredients.

What would the barley powder do? I've thought of suggesting

sprinkling some Super Food in his food. At this point Mark, my

friend, says he'll try anything that might help even just a little.

Oh, and I'll pass along the Dumb Pets suggestion. For those that are

again scratching their heads, Carol and I live in Denver, and there

is a rescued fur friends organization called Dumb Pets that I go to

frequently, trying to convince Marilyn that we really need a

particular cat that was abused and abandonded.
