Guest guest
I know dogs can be amazing helpers, I just never knew they trained them specifically for this purpose. I think it's so cool, and had to share this with those who might not know about this service.................. " Brace dogs are a particular kind of service dog. They can do all the same things as other service dogs--turn on lights, open doors, pick up objects, answer the phone, get help--but they can also help someone who has fallen down to get back up (typically after a seizure). Brace dogs are particularly difficult to find because they must be large and sturdy while also being unusually calm and gentle. " There is a dog that fits that description available in Michigan that is available. I don't know anything about the adoption proceedure, but could find the contact info if you are interested.
