You will never figure it out. Everyones body is differant.

Most people are able to eat what ever they want until they get a

proper fill.

Some people can make it to their goal weight without a fill.

Some people PB after they get 1 fill and others do not feel

restriction until after 2 or 3 fills.

You are only a week out of surgery. If you are recovering well and do

not feel any restriction, you probably could eat an entire bowl of

potatoe salad. Of course just because you can doesn't mean you

should.

Productive burping..food comes up when you feel like a good burp is needed. Usually too much food or too big of a bite or your band may not like a specific food you may have eaten..alot of folks have problems with bread or certain meats which may cause this or sliming..nearly pb-ing, but usually only mucous..not food. Steve,

You are doing excellent. If I'm reading your post right, you are worried that you may have slipped because you are not PBing? is that right? If your band slipped you would have symptoms, you aren't. You are leading the PERFECT bandster life - not feeling hungery, eating properly and life is good :) Are you still losing weight? Have you had a fill yet? It sounds to me like you are right on track :) Cyrena www.mylapbandjourney.com

Is this something that usually happens after you get your first fill? My surgery was 5/22/07 & I have never as you say PB-ed. I was not hungry any time after surgery & don't seem to ever be real hungry. Drink a high protein shake in the AM with skim milk & have dinner in PM of usually salmon or ground turkey with a little salad. Could it be my band has slipped? I eat, I feel full, don't think I eat more than 1,000 calories of low fat, low carb stuff.Do you think something is wrong?Steve
