Guest guest
I get an irregular heart beat from wheat...So, some symptoms can surely be odd, and dangerous...My drs still think I'm crazy as I tested negative for Celiac's disease, so they're not taking me seriously... I welcome input... Missty
Guest guest
I'm in the same boat **How'd you get in that boat?** HUSH Guido! Sorry, my alter ego isn't behaving himself. Anyway, I was tested for Celiac's too, by two separate " doctors " . One said I had it, the other didn't. It was kind of fun listening to them argue over the phone. Unsprouted grains can be, are, dangerous things. Especially these days of genetically modified foods. Does your heart have this problem if you use sprouted wheat or sprouted wheat flour? We use it just like regular flour with no problem. **what is this " we " ? are you the queen of england?** GUIDO!! Back in your box!! Sorry about that. He gets out sometimes. Guest guest
Missty, it could be that you are sensitive to wheat protein. Sprouted grains are great and yummy too. I would stick with all the other wonderful grains out there and avoid wheat if I were you, sprouted or not. One of the things the body does when we have a true allergy is to rev up our heart rate, which can be very uncomfortable. Guest guest
I first want to thank all who responded to my post... I am allergic to many foods, so I have to be really careful about my intake of just about everything... I can only have rice & corn based flours and such...I was told to avoid all other grains due to the possibilty of cross contamination...due mostly to it effecting my heart so severely...by a friend who is a nutritionist... I have what I would call an anaphylactic sp? reactions to wheat...my heart just goes crazy...skips beats, adds beats, and pounds heavily, and just plain scares the dayights out of me...the last ER visit lasted 7 hours of the heart monitor beeping every few heart beats...I tend to have a lot of belching gas and indigestion when this happens...Drs now are saying I have a couple heart conditions in response to my ER visits after having consumed wheat products via irregular EKG's...I'm not sure if I have these heart conditions, but the drs surely act like I'm crazy about the wheat issue...they say the conditions are not life threatening, thankfully, but surely life atering...ugh... I am not sure what is meant by sprouted, or not sprouted...I just know that I avoid wheat as much as possible, as I really fear it killing me if I'm not careful... Anyways, I'm just really frustrated with the drs acting like they know my body better than I do...I never dreamed eating would ever become such an ordeal... Thanks again...
