Can anyone tell me if raw chicken necks are OK for a cat to eat?

I don't give my cats anything that has small brittle bones in it. Too risky. I don't know what the experts have to say though. That's just a policy I have.Gloria

Thanks for all of the replies on this. I have bought raw turkey

necks for my cat from the local pet store and those turkey necks are

part of a raw diet for pets you can use. I had two chicken necks

that I thought I would feed to the cat instead of tossing, but I was

afraid of the little bones, etc., that Gloria mentioned. I'm sure

the cat is going to love eating one of the necks for dinner, LOL -

RAW chicken necks are NOT brittle. They are very pliable. I feed Ziggy the Welsh Corgi one every single morning for the last 7 years and he has yet to choke. And he is the absolute pig gulper when it comes to food.

Hi ,

Raw chicken necks for cats are fine. Raw bones are not brittle, cooked

bones are brittle. If cats can eat a whole living bird, neck and all, I

see no reason they can't eat raw chicken necks.
