Guest guest
I am only a month out, but I think the scary part of your email is that you aren't taking all your vitamins and you are drinking soda. Please remember that your body needs the extra vitamins to keep you healthy, your body probably seems fine without them but I would bet you would feel better and less sleepy if you were taking all the vitamins needed. Have you had your labs done lately? How did they come out? I also worry about you getting an ulcer from the soda. With such a small amount of stomach left to hold food even a small hole from an ulcer would cause havoc. Maybe you need to scare yourself into being good. Think of all the bad things that could happen if you don't follow the " rules " . The worse being death. Honestly, that's what has kept me on track so far and I hope it does in the future also. Your 5 lb weight gain is still small, get it off before it gets to be more and harder to take off. My skinny (size 6) sister has never allowed herself to gain more than 5-10 lbs without losing it. This is also something I will try to remember as I get further out. To be honest I can see how someone can let the rules fall to the side. Once you feel good, your body feels like it did prior to surgery and you fell like you can have this or that, but remember you may pay for it in the long run. I hope this helped.
