General Health Q

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted here. I lurk and read and have

followed everyone's posts with great interest. It has been a busy

few months with work and other life stresses. I had my surgery Apr 8

04 and have lost about 110 lbs. to date. I am wearing a sz 14 and my

health has improved dramatically in terms of diabetes, sleep apnea

and blood pressure. I struggle with emotional eating from time to

time but the mgb alteration makes controlling myself a whole lot

easier.

I have a question regarding general health. Since April, I have been

on antibiotics a two or three times for sinusitus. Please don't

misunderstand, I am not blaming the mgb for my sinuses! I used to

get them chronically before also -- just not quite this frequently.

Has anyone else experienced bacterial infections out of the usual?

I take my vitamins most of the time (sometimes I forget). Are we to

continue with 3 times the daily dosage of vitamins " forever " as clos

says -- or is this something that we can cut the daily dosage of over

time? I take a multi, calcium, flax oil and digestive enzymes.

Maybe I should add some vitamin C?

I eat very healthy, lean protein first, veggies next, some fruit and

almost never eat potatoes or pasta because they fill me up so fast

that nothing else fits in the pouch! (I will admit to some Christmas

overindulgence, but hopefully that will GO AWAY soon!)

Best,

Teri, Richmond Hill Ont Can
