Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, It sounds like a or several spider bites. Antibiotic creams will not work with spider bites. I suggest, depending on what it is doing at present, that you apply lavender EO to the bite neat (neat means just dab it on without diluting). I don't know where you live so can't say what type of spider it might be. Could be black widow, hobo, brown recluse or any of a dozen other varieties. Either way, lavender EO will be about your best bet for helping with itching and neutralizing the toxins. From your description it almost sounds like a hobo or brown recluse but I can't be certain. If you had caught the perp then you could identify and we would know for certain. If the wound becomes raw and oozing (necrosis) then you might also consider applying a paste of either Bentonite or activated charcoal mixed with lavender oil. Keep up the MSM and Vit. C, drink lots of pure water too. You might also consider taking it very easy (if possible) as in going to bed and resting and maybe even fasting on water alone. Otherwise, get yourself into the allopathic establishment for some allopathic type "curing". Just remember, antibiotics do absolutely no good with toxins and poisons. About 10 days ago, I started feeling a burning sensation on the right side of my hip. When I looked at the area, there were 3 or 4 welts close together. They each had a small pinprick size center, like a bite mark. I assumed I had been bitten by something. The center of the welt was hard. I left it alone but the burning sensation kept increasing. The next day, the pinprick had turned into a sore, almost as if someone had burned my skin with a cigarette. They still burn badly, although the welts have diminished in size around the sores. I have tried antibiotic cream and it is not helping. I am also taking high doses of msm and vitamin c and drinking a large glass of green juice everyday. I am totally mystified. Any ideas? The sores do not seem to be getting better and they are still quite painful. (If it were flesh eating disease, I would be dead by now, so I think we can rule that out.) Looking forward to any ideas or help. Thanks all! Cheryl Peace on earth.
Guest guest
It sounds like a or several spider bites. Cheryl, I agree with Don...my first thought was a spider bite. I'd recommend using the bentonite clay to draw out toxins. Mix it with water and put it on some gauze, cover it with a bandage and leave it on all day. I'd also drink some bentonite internally (diluted in water) throughout the day. It will absorb any poison that has gotten into your system. If you continue feeling sick or the bite/pain/swelling gets worse, have a doctor check it out. Gloria
Guest guest
I heard this a few weeks back @ a meeting. Take a plain aspirin and crush it and apply to spider bite, he said in a few days it will be gone. Haven't tried it yet as me and spiders get along ok.: ) Jina
Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, Could it possibly be Shingles? Do a google search and you’ll find all kinds of information and pictures that will help to identify it. Guest guest
Could be spider bites. Could also be small outbreak of shingles. What is you history with the chickenpox? I have a medical mystery I need some input about.
Guest guest
Sorry been gone and repairing fences.... My first thought was spider bite.. however, if it is a brown recluse usually there are red streaks running not blotches... I would be using something to draw... but also taking super tonic several times a day... Some bites are nothing to fool around with from one who has been bitten by a brown recluse) SuziMorningGlory113@... wrote: It sounds like a or several spider bites.Cheryl, I agree with Don...my first thought was a spider bite. Guest guest
Sounds like you are allergic to whatever is biting you. Scratching is just bringing infection to the bite. When the itch strikes, make a paste out of baking soda and cool water and spread it on the bites – it will cool them right off. My dad used to use a black drawing salve on my bites when I was little. I think Dr. came up with it, but since dad has passed away I can’t tell you for sure. Check your windows and doors and make sure everything is covered by a screen. If you don’t let them “no see-ums” in they can’t bite you. With winter approaching all bug activity should start dying down too, so that’s always a relief. Janet From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of Sharyn E. Cerniglia Sent: Monday, October 02, 2006 6:15 AM health Subject: RE: medical mystery I’ve been getting bitten like mad lately. Most of them I don’t see or feel until the day after (no see’ums??)…they make a red blotch with a hole in the middle; it itches like crazy and seeps a clear yellow liquid which crystallizes on the hole. Then I forget and scratch off the crystal scab and it seeps some more and does the same thing again. I’m thinking this is not a Bad Thing, since it allows the toxin out of my body instead of staying in. Also, my ankle where the bites are is very swollen and tight feeling and sore. Does anyone have any ideas what these things are? I know when I was growing up down here I had horrible allergic reactions to no see’ums bites, and this could well be what they are. In which case I may just make a homeopathic remedy from the yellow crystal and see if that helps. The pharmacist I showed the bites to, of course, prescribed cortisone. Not! The others have been fire ants. I’m usually *very* careful where I step – especially on this acre jungle – but I was walking at dusk the other night and evidently stepped in a red ant pile. Ended up with only one bite, on my left next-to-little toe, but got a *huge* blister from it. I popped the blister and seeped out the liquid, then sat with both feet in the pool for about ten minutes. I think that helped more than anything. Guest guest
Icthamol ointment, Janet. That’s what we always had as a black drawing salve when I was a kid. The bugs don’t bite me inside, only outside. However, being that I live in south Florida on an acre of paradise, I’m outside a lot.<G> Yes, hopefully winter will bring some relief.
