ya know - I never knew that we can't burp with out new tummies. But I alas

have learned that I do not in fact burp anymore. And sometimes I want

to/need to so bad..LOL Anyone know the reason behind this?

Using a straw

Just curious--I thought we weren't supposed to use a straw because

of the air and we can't burp with the new tummies? If it works for

you that's of course fine by me but just wanted the general thoughts

since I'm still post-op. Also, if we can't burp, is that just while

we're healing or is it a forever thing? Thanks.

Sue,

It may help to raise your arms above your head to release the gas.

I burb just fine. I just don't eat or drink in the quantities I used to that

required it. I can still impress the kids. . . .
