Guest guest
I also mouth ulcers on both sides of my tongue, and on the gums on the outer areas. Could it be thrush? I've had that and it is very painful. Mouth sores inside and out. It is a form of Candida yeast overgrowth. I'd start rinsing with grapefruitseed extract (diluted in water) and drinking a few glasses of the same. Grapefruitseed extract will kill yeast. Guest guest
Hi again, I have a problem and this time it is for me. I have for the past few days got four sores on the lips, three on the upper lip and one on the lower lip, the Dr thinks it is Cold Sores, but to me they look like mouth ulcers on the lips, my lips are crusty on two of the sores but not on the others and both of my lips are swollen. I also mouth ulcers on both sides of my tongue, and on the gums on the outer areas. My lymph nodes are so swollen that you can actually feel the nodules on my neck. My throat is sore but for no apparent reason, and I am tired and achey. Any suggestions and I certainly not up to going on a fast as I am already weak and tired and have to work (can't take time off at all being a casual shift worker - don't get paid for when I am not there). Any suggesstions? Peta On 7 Messenger: Make FREE PC-to-PC Calls

Guest guest
Sounds familiar! When this happens to us, we take lots and lots of garlic. Of course, that is our " pat answer " for just about everything. Drink lots of water, too. When Marilyn gets this, she puts organic cold pressed extra virgin olive oil on her lips and it seems to help. Not too much help, I know. I'm sure others will chime in with better advice! The pleasantest things in the world are pleasant thoughts: and the great art of life is to have as many of them as possible. > > Hi again, > > I have a problem and this time it is for me. Guest guest
I don't know about that, should it not look cheesy and crusty, my mouth is just plain sore. When I had thrush, the sores were usually whitish spots on my tongue, sides of my mouth and on my lips. They can sometimes spread into the throat area. Not crusty or anything like like. Just canker sores, but lots of them. Very very sore. Gloria

Guest guest
Thanks Shari, I wish mine were that simple, and I am glad you knew the feeling I am going through now, but mine I think is due to a low immune system, too much stress over a 7 day period. I am still tired, but the glands have finally gone down after 4 days, even though there is still some tenderness, it is hard to brush my teeth at the moment because of the sore gums. Guest guest
At present I have mouth ulcers on both sides of my tongue and a large one on the front of my tougue, I think your best bet is to have them diagnosed. A decent dentist could probably even do that. You want to know what you've got and then you can find out how to treat it. I had trench mouth and that's the signs. Guest guest
I am actually going back to the doctors today, I'll be curious to hear the diagnosis. It sounds to me like either trench mouth or thrush...they are related anyway. I've had both and it was terrible. They can strike when under stress and the bacteria in your mouth starts going haywire. Then the cold sores, canker sores etc. start erupting and spreading all over the oral cavity right into the throat. Horrible! Glad you're getting it checked out. Guest guest
What about rinsing with myrrh and yarrow? I know when I had that it took some strong stuff to kill that bacteria. The herbs might help with the pain, but I had to take a long course of antibiotics. Of course that could be natural antibiotic treatments like taking echinacea and goldenseal and oil of oregano internally, lots of rising with grapefruitseed extract, taking a lot of liquid bentonite clay, Vit.C. and of course extra acidophilus and probiotics etc. Gloria
Guest guest
SUPER TONIC.... nature's antibiotic. If what Peta has is similar to what I had, the ONLY problem I have with Super Tonic is the burning touching those mouth sores. And I mean hitting-the-roof pain. I got to the point where I could barely eat or drink anything and something like Super Tonic would have been intolerable. But, maybe that isn't the case for her. Guest guest
Desperate people do desperate things... lol Yes,. they do!!! I remember as a kid (around 12) having trench mouth and my tongue, gums and lips were covered with those sores. The doctor told my mother to have me rinse with lemon juice. I did it once and I screamed like a banshee for hours. It was terrible. My mother decided we weren't going to try that again. It depends on the severity. If she can handle Super Tonic in her mouth, she should definitely try it. Gloria

Guest guest
Hi Gloria, Actually I have severe cold sores on my lips and just a couple of mouth ulcers on my tongue (which makes it hard to eat as you need the tongue to move the food around). I know it is against most peoples ethics and sometimes my own but I am desperate measures after suffering 7 days by being put on antibiotic and herpes therapy. I am eating and drinking plenty of yoghurt and making sure I get my Vitamin B Complex as well as my Vitamin C. As I work in retail, I need to get rid of these as it is very unsightly to look at a person with sores all over their mouth.
