Hello All,

Today I am ONE month post-op!! Thing are going wonderfully! Of

course I have been taking my meds and vitamins as instructed. Just

this past week I have begun introducing regular foods to my diet,

regular meaning; chicken salad, pork, steak along with some

vegetables like beans and asparagus. With these new items I have

also been chewing chewing chewing and taking things slow. And as it

turns out, so far so good! It's amazing what fills you up, and it's

a constant struggle for me to remember to GO SLOW esp when I'm

hungry! Watching others eat is quite entertaining, never thought

about it before, now I remind myself during every bit to chew

everything really well. Otherwise I feel like there's lead in my

stomach and I'm uncomfortable for a good 45mins or more. I try to

drink one large container of Gatorade a day and another bottle or two

of the new Crystal Light Hydration. I have been back to my everyday

activity and have added this past week a water aerobic class 2 days a

week. I usually walk during my lunch for 30mins about 3-4 times a

week. But I believe adding the water aerobics will be one of the

best activities I could have added. I love the water and I'm hoping

the class will lead me back in to swimming laps as a primary exercise

routine.

Now for the exciting news… I have LOST 33 POUNDS in 1 month!!

Hurray!!! What a wonderful feeling having your clothes getting

baggie!
