Guest guest
Hi everyone: I ate some beans in almost liquid form and did not keep track of how much I was eating(drinking). I might have had close to one cup of food. My stomach where my band is hurts sooo much!!!!!!!!!! I won't be doing this again, but can anybody tell me how long this agony will last? How should I behave the next few days to recover?? Celia banded 12/10/2005 227/207/
Guest guest
I usually swallow some water, not much, about a 1/4 a cup and the food should rise in the esophagus and then by simply bending over in the 'vomit' position, head must be lower than a toilet, use a plastic cup, allow the food to come up and spit it out, and thats it. If it isn't comming up add more water. You ate too much and too fast. Only put in you cup the amount you know you should be eating. Next time, maybe start with 1/4 cup and you can always add. One cup seems like a lot. > > Hi everyone: > > I ate some beans in almost liquid form and did not keep track of how > much I was eating(drinking). I might have had close to one cup of > food. Thanks for the advice Dawnita > > Are you supposed to be on full liquids yet Celia? anyhow...go back to clear liquids for at least 24 hrs to give the band a little resting time before you try to " eat " any full liquids or mushies yet. > > > BIG HUGS, AND GOD'S BLESSINGS > Dawnita May > Lowpass, Oregon > 10/05/05 dob " Iraida " 209/179/135 5ft 3inches See My > latest photos at: http://dawnita1961.myphotoalbum.com/ >
