HI Belinda, I know what you mean about being ready! I am leaving next friday and will be in Calexico on the 27th which is a little early but hubby and I wanted a day or so together before my surgery which is on the 1st. Does anyone know if there is anything to do in Calexico? I am getting both excited and nervous. I just came back from shopping and I bought chicken and beef broth for the trip home, plus jello. I wish I had ordered some of that protein drink (Isopure?) that someone else had mentioned. Now I think it is too late to order before I leave.

Ya , good luck and I know everything will go great. Just have a positive attatude going in and that will be the result. I know you are!! I also went a purchased somethings to try did you find the advantage drinks put out by adkins? They are low in sugar and carbs I found them at walmart. Someone said to go to GNC and look for a protein drink that is 40% protein and clear liquid. I'm going to try that also. Keep in touch and good luck. Belinda

Isopure is available at GNC stores. It has 40grams of protein (not

40%) so it's a good boost during the clear liquid phase. Good luck to

those who are anticipating the surgery. , Calexico is pretty

small but El Centro is not far north of there (less than 20 mi I

think) and it's a bit bigger.

At 5-1/2 weeks post surgery I am still feeling great and am DELIGHTED

with weight loss of 28 lbs as of this morning. Yippee!

am starting to feel it in my clothes and was another 2 lbs down this

The first Isopure I bought was on sale for, I think, about $1.75 but

then when I went back to get another round the full price at my GNC

was about $2.50.
