Guest guest
Hi Alice Thanks for the well wishes and the nice compliment. It is great that we can all share and help each other!! Yes it is wonderful that the new implants require less drilling but it is still reccomended that the receiver stimulater be secured with sutures..mine was not.My understanding is that back when I was implanted with the n22 it was not required.Whatever..it has happened and I can't change that.Perhaps it is part of my journey??I am confident that something good will happen on the 9th.Tes..the N22 is working well..It is thought that the receiver is touching the mic and causing signal interference. It is quite funny as my audiologist has rigged up a cable to my transmitter and my lapel microphone so that I don't use my ear piece mic. That is what was appealing to me about the clarion and that is what I have now.. but I don't have the mic on my head..it is clipped to my shirt.Really is pretty cool and goes to show that if there's a will to hear there's a way...
