Guest guest
Not sure why this didn't pass the moderator, but I'll try it again. I received no travel discount, travel: Cincinnati to Durham. I received no travel/post op packet. I left 2 days post-op - much to your dismay, but I was at Jazzercise in my home town 4 days post-op, not sitting around in a dirty hotel getting complications. > Stop holding hands. I think anything else is enabling! > My vote: Pack your own doggone post op packet. My goodness. You should know what to bring, bring it. I don't want to discuss birth control or books. So far I've understand how to keep from having a baby and if I don't I shouldn't be having this surgery! I don't need my hand held. Inform me via an accurate manual/website. Validate that I'm informed (pre-op process). Charge me the same rate as everyone else. Focus on low complications. Consider lower rate for revision (I played by the rules, didn't work- cut me some slack). Make sure I have a healthy relationship with my in town physician for complications. Make yourself available to my MD if there are problems. Give HER your cell phone, I don't need it. > Stop the hand holding, stop selling this surgery. It sells itself by it's success! Educate surgeons in my area so if I have a complication they can handle it! Do what you do best....the MGB. You are a good man, keep cutting. Get mentally well patients and cut. Primary doc handles everything else. Educate them! > Osler > MGB 2/21/00 > 272/175-
